Join the Faculty
On Monday nights the faculty of Five Minute University gather at The Olde Cup and Saucer in Longwood at 7 PM and discuss their favorite topics. There's no cover charge and you are not required to bring a subject for discussion. But imagine a local version of the Algonquin Round Table but without all the self-absorbed pretentions and without everyone getting hammered.
You can bring your own snacks or beverages, although the house usually provides coffee and tea.
Come as you are, sit back and take it all in ... and when you want to participate you are welcome to... join in discussions following presentations or bring your own material prepared in the classic Five Minute University manner (Three to five minutes of your favorite arcana on a single subject ... and then five questions for the group-- the questions are meant to stimulate discussion ... so be ready for it)
